This Privacy Policy explains how DocPhoto AI (“the App”), operated by FunitApps (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, and protects your information. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

• Photos and images — All photo processing (face detection, background removal, cropping, compliance checks) happens entirely on your device using on-device AI. We never see, access, upload, or store your photos.
• Biometric data — Face detection and segmentation are performed locally. No biometric data leaves your device.
• Personal identification documents — We do not have access to any document data.

We use the collected information to:

• Display advertisements to free-tier users.
• Send app configuration updates (via Firebase Remote Config).

3. Analytics Events

We collect anonymous analytics events to understand App usage. These events do not contain any personal or identifying information. Examples include:

• App opened, country selected, photo captured
• Processing started/completed, photo exported
• Subscription purchased, paywall viewed

All analytics are aggregated and anonymized. We cannot identify individual users from analytics data.

• On-device data: App preferences (selected country, theme, settings) are stored locally on your device using standard platform storage. This data never leaves your device.
• Photo history: Recent photos are stored locally on your device for your convenience. They are never transmitted externally.
• Cloud data: Only anonymous analytics and subscription status are processed in the cloud through the third-party services listed above.

• On-device data is retained until you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App.
• Analytics data is retained by Firebase according to Google’s data retention policies (typically 14 months for user-level data).
• Subscription data is retained by RevenueCat and the respective app store for the duration required for billing and legal purposes.
• Support emails are retained for as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including LGPD in Brazil, GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify inaccurate personal data.
• Delete your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Restrict processing of your personal data.
• Data portability — receive your data in a structured format.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

Anonymous analytics data may be processed by Google (Firebase) and RevenueCat in the United States or other countries. These transfers are governed by the respective service providers’ data protection agreements and comply with applicable data protection regulations.

The App itself does not use cookies. However, third-party SDKs (Firebase, AdMob) may use device identifiers for analytics and advertising purposes. You can limit ad tracking through your device settings:

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, including the Lei Geral de Protecao de Dados (LGPD – Law No. 13,709/2018). For users in the European Economic Area, the GDPR also applies. For users in California, the CCPA also applies.
